Colliers International Georgia, within the project RECOV.GE - Real Estate Coverage has begun a series of webinars and panel talks on real estate matters.
The purpose of these is to enhance the real estate sector, answer the questions of industry players and discover new opportunities in this uncertain period.
First event was focused on Hotel Industry Recovery prospects.
The panel was led by Irakli Kilauridze, Colliers International Georgia's Managing Partner and Marc Finney, Hotels & Resorts Consulting Head at Colliers UK. It is noteworthy that Marc has 30 years of working experience in the field of real estate and he has a profound knowledge of Georgian hospitality market. During the last 10 years he has worked on several large projects in Georgia, including the Hilton Garden Inn, Sheraton Grand Metekhi Palace, Radisson Telegraph, Radisson Tsinandali, hotels in Abastumani and Tskaltubo. Marc Finney worked on feasibility study and masterplan of former polygon territory in Gonio.
Topics under discussion were the challenges faced by the global hotels market; optimal strategies for opening hotels; chances of attracting visitors to travel in Georgia, revising contracts with International Hotel Operators and the outlook for building new hotels in 2020.
